strong>MANCHESTER, New Hampshire — Hillary Clinton pleaded with New Hampshire voters Saturday night at the McIntyre-Shaheene Dinner to give her another look before the state's upcoming primary, in which she trails Bernie Sanders by a significant margin

"I know you have a favorite, but everyone takes a second look, maybe a third or a fourth look. And I hope you give me one of those looks over the next few days" Clinton told the crowd. "Of course I still hope to persuade those who are looking at Senator Sanders, but I want you to know that I am truly happy that you are involved in this election and the Democratic Party."

The former secretary of state's remarks came just 24 hours after she and Sanders argued on the debate stage in Durham. While Clinton beat Sanders by .2 percent in the Iowa caucus, the Vermont Senator currently leads Clinton by twenty points in some New Hampshire polls.

In 2008, Clinton entered New Hampshire down by 16 points and was able to defeat Barack Obama in the state and win the primary. On Friday night she thanked the state for supporting her last time and begged them to do the same this Tuesday.
