Trump picks Broncos over Panthers for Super Bowl

Donald Trump's original pick to win the Super Bowl, the New England Patriots, lost last week, but the self-proclaimed fan of winners is placing is bets on the team who beat beat them: the Denver Broncos.

The Broncos face the Carolina Panthers on Feb. 7 in the championship game.

Trump conceded Carolina "is sort of a hot team."

"And the quarterback's doing great," he said referring to Cam Newton, a Heisman trophy winner, first overall draft pick in the 2011 NFL draft and likely league MVP for this season.
