Supreme Court Strikes Down Case From Man Claiming to Be Elvis Presley's Son

On its first day of a new term, the U.S. Supreme Court refused Monday to hear a case from a man claiming to be Elvis Presley's first-born son.

Jason Presley of West Valley City, Utah, who is suing for rights to the entire Presley family estate, had penned a petition to the high court asking for it to review his case -- full of wild accusations including an allegation that the famous singer was murdered in 1977 and did not die from a drug overdose.

Lower courts have been unkind to Presley, who also goes by the name of Ernie Young, in his effort to claim the family fortune.  The man was reportedly arrested for allegedly harassing several judges in Utah after they turning down his case.
