A study released Monday by the conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation is getting criticism from both the left and the right sides of the aisle — the new bipartisan immigration bill proposed in the Senate, it said, would cost the country 6.3 billion dollars.

*Shortly after this commentary was recorded, Jason Richwine, a co-author of the study, resigned from The Heritage Foundation. It was reported this week that Richwine had argued in the past that whites and Hispanics are genetically less intelligent than whites.
