Isn't it crazy how a scent can transport you back to special moment in time?

I can’t smell an evergreen tree without thinking about Christmas. The smell of A+D diaper rash cream will forever bring me back to the hospital where I had my kids.

And if you’ve ever been in a vineyard, there are so many scents that you’d like to take home with you.  Especially when you stick your nose in the glass of your favorite wine, don’t you wish you can capture that smell forever?

Well, fragrance creator Kelly Jones, did just that. And after a visit to wine country in California, she decided to launch her Notes of Wine Collection.

But lets face it, it’s a little challenging.  You don’t want the fragrance to smell like the wine I spilled on my dress last night (was so mad!)  You want it to smell like the berries, the vanilla, or the grapefruit scent your nose got when you inhaled.

Now a wine can have primary and secondary aromas. And Jones wanted to recreate those layers in her perfumes.

So Notes of Cabernet, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Merlot have officially been bottled.

And the best is you can try a sample flight that includes all 5 scents at KellyandJones.com for a mere $15.

The scents are delicate and comforting, and smelled nothing like my dress did the next morning after a night out.
