Are you a chocolate lover who prefers the sweet sans cocoa?
Rejoice, white chocolate lovers — Mars is answering your sugary-sweet prayer. The previously limited-edition M&M’s White Chocolate will soon be available year-round.
This is the first time that the white chocolate candy will be available in the brand's standard bright colors instead of the seasonal pastel colors used during its typical Easter release each year.
"M&M’S White Chocolate will hit shelves at select food, mass, convenience and drug stores nationwide starting in May 2017 in Singles packs that feature the brand’s iconic colorful candy shells," a spokeswoman for Mars confirmed to Fox News via email.
Some fans are pretty excited about the permanent new Mars offering.

White chocolate M&Ms are a thing and they are life changing— Elizabeth Stanley (@ElizabethFaye_) March 11, 2017
M&Ms purists, however, aren't sure if a white chocolate version is really a good idea.
Left out a piece of white chocolate m&ms for mom yesterday and she said "i'm not eating that." Didn't think it would actually still be there— GSG🌝 (@gracexstephanie) March 23, 2017
Have to say, I LOVE white chocolate...but I didn't like these too much. Peanut butter is still my go to when it comes to M&Ms https://t.co/zoGMjttvKB— Angela Brauer (@AngelaKOAT) March 23, 2017
The White Chocolate M&Ms will likely be joined by the highly anticipated Caramel variety, due out in stores this May.
