Ahoy, all ye doughnut lovers.

If you can walk and talk like a real pirate, today is your chance to claim some real sweet booty.

Surprisingly, Sept. 19 isn’t  a quirky food holiday. It’s Talk Like a Pirate Day in the U.S. and Canada and the beloved doughnut chain is giving patrons the chance to score some original glazed doughnuts if they get in on the swashbuckling action.

If you can put on your best pirate accent and growl, saunter up to a Krispy Kreme cashier and ask for some treasure, you’ll get one free donut. But for those in full pirate attire—pick any three of the following: pirate hat, bandana, eye patch, costume hook, pirate shirt, peg-leg, parrot or pirate knickers—Krispy Kreme will give you a full dozen doughnuts.

For the first time ever, this year the chain is letting guests “dress” like a pirate digitally via Krispy Kreme's Snapchat pirate filter. Any guest who shows their posted Snapchat pirate image at a participating shop will qualify for a dozen original glazed doughnuts

Says the chain, “Show your snap to a team member inside the shop and score ye bounty.”

If you don’t feel like dressing up or talking like a pirate but still want to celebrate hijinks on the high seas, the chain is also offering two specially frosted doughnuts—a Pirate Doughnut featuring a eye-patched face face and a Skull and Crossbones Doughnut topped with chocolate and white icing and a skull candy piece.

The offer excludes several locations including Krispy Kremes in Conn.-based casinos and Puerto Rico.

So grab your peg leg and hobble over to the nearest doughnut store to get some good grub today, matey.
