She’s already in it for better or worse.

Ariana Grande came to the defense of her comedian fiancé, Pete Davidson, after a joke he made referring to the 2017 terror attack at Grande’s Manchester concert resurfaced in light of their engagement.

“This has been v tough & conflicting on my heart. he uses comedy to help ppl feel better ab how f-ed up things in this world are,” Grande, 25, tweeted on Thursday in response to a fan’s tweet reading, “I don’t know why she is still with Pete.”

According to the UK’s Mirror, Davidson cracked the joke during a Puerto Rico hurricane relief event in the fall — months before he was romantically linked to Grande. Speaking about the moment he realized just how famous Grande was, he joked during his set, “Britney Spears didn’t have a terrorist attack at her concert.”

The mother of one of the teens killed in the attack called for “SNL” star Davidson’s apology. “For anyone to joke about this situation is disgusting and I think he should publicly apologize for it,” she told the Mirror. “The families will find it equally as disgusting.”

However, the “Sweetener” singer tried to rationalize her beau’s actions for her disappointed fans.

“We all deal w trauma differently,” Grande explained of her fiancé, whose father was killed on September 11. “I of course didn’t find it funny. it was months ago & his intention wasn’t/ is never malicious but it was unfortunate.”

Davidson, who frequently mentions his late father in stand-up routines, has had his Instagram comments flooded with Arianators demanding he apologizes for his tone-deaf joke or that Grande leave him.

Davidson’s rep did not immediately respond to request for comment.
