Could twerking be the new It-workout for a summer-ready body? Iggy Azalea seems to think so.

According to The Sun, the 26-year-old Australian rapper admitted to a New Zealand radio show that she easily shed the pounds just by shaking things up while creating the music video for her comeback track, “Mo Bounce.”

“It’s a lot — I went on a meal plan before the video because I knew I would have to be dancing fairly skimpily dressed,” explained Azalea.

Azalea also revealed she needed some extra help in learning how to twerk like a pro.

“It just has to come naturally,” said Azalea. “I did take classes. I do have someone who is very, very good at twerking and she helped me. I never realized how flexible you have to be to do that stuff.”

She even learned one surprising secret to mastering the art of twerking.

“My teacher was like, ‘I really suggest you take yoga’ and I didn’t know you had to take yoga to be a twerker, but apparently you do.”

However, this wasn’t the first time Azalea flaunted her backside for music. She previously stripped down with Jennifer Lopez for her 2014 single, “Booty.”
