Reunited and it feels so good — at least for these two.

Kathie Lee Gifford and Tom Selleck recreated the same steamy kiss they once shared on “LIVE! With Regis and Kathie Lee” 20 years ago on Wednesday during the “Today” show.

Previously, Regis Philbin tried to convince the now-63-year-old co-host to plant a smooch on the 72-year-old actor because he previously saw Selleck give Kevin Kline a kiss in the 1997 film “In & Out.”

“I’d done this movie I’m very proud of, ‘In & Out,’” explained Selleck to Gifford. “And Regis got into me kissing Kevin Kline.

“Regis wouldn’t quit and you kind of saved me, you kind of said 'What the hell?' And you planted one on me which was kind of you saying to the audience, ‘He only went there as a tourist.’ And that shut Regis up, which is, as you know, almost impossible.”

Selleck added that he sent a bouquet of red roses to Gifford following the televised smooch.

“I was stunned,” said Selleck. “It was a good kiss, man.”

Gifford then sat on Selleck’s lap and shared another kiss with him in front of cameras.

“Happy anniversary!” said Gifford. “He’s got the softest lips!”

“Yes, I do!” responded Selleck.

This wasn’t the first time that the famous lip lock was brought up on television. During a 2004 appearance of “Larry King Live,” Gifford explained what inspired her to make the bold move.

“I could tell that Tom Selleck was uncomfortable,” she said. “And Regis kept irking him and everything, you know, chiding him on. So I said, ‘All right, I’ll kiss him.’ And I went over and I just laid a good one right on Tom Selleck. It was nice. He’s such a doll, he’s suck a sweet man.”

She also added, “You know when you’ve been in television as long as we have, when there’s a moment, you can either take advantage of it, see what happens, but the people that don’t last very long on TV are the people that don’t go for those moments, the golden moments.”
