Sadie Roberston wants fans to know that during tough times, they should rely on faith for much-needed healing.

“I pray that even when tough times come, even when the boyfriend cheats, even when the parents get divorced, even when somebody passes, even when the whole school goes against you, even when you feel very ugly, even when you feel very afraid, that you’re able to be still; you’re able to know that God is protecting you -- that you’re able to feel safe, and your eyes are enlightened,” said the 19-year-old “Duck Dynasty” star in a video posted on her YouTube page on Wednesday.

Roberston credited Psalms 46 for helping her accept any challenges in life that may come her way.

“Bad times and hard times are going to come,” she explained. “Right now you may be sitting in an awesome time in your life, a great season, and you’re like, ‘I don’t need to think about that, this doesn’t have to do with me.’ But I’m going to tell y’all, and I hate to break this to you, but things will happen. And how are you going to handle yourself then? In order to know where God is in those times, you have to beforehand know who God is.”

However, the reality TV star didn’t always feel empowered to tackle daily obstacles. Previously, Robertson opened up on Instagram where she described a time in her life where she felt a “division between” herself and God.

“I used to hide things from God in my prayer life,” she wrote on Instagram earlier this month. “I was afraid I would fail in that area again.”

However, once Robertson realized God’s way is “the truth” she was able to open up.

“He is strength when we are weak, He IS the beginning and the end. He honestly has used me most in my weakest moments. He has given my pain purpose. He has constantly showed me redemption," she said.
