The ballroom was on fire for Latin night on “Dancing with the Stars” Monday night.

Guest judge Pitbull got the party off in electrifying fashion with an energetic performance of his song, “Greenlight,” alongside Flo Rida and LunchMoney Lewis. Then it was highlight after highlight as the celebrity dancers stepped up their game.

With no one being eliminated the previous week, the pressure was intense on many dancers, especially Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte who was stuck at the bottom of the leader board.

The 32-year-old, who is Cuban on his mother’s side, looked to channel some of that Caribbean flavor to his salsa dance.

While he did a solid job, the judges seemed to praise his neon spray tan more than his dancing skills. However, judge Julianna Hough said he “nailed it,” while Bruno Tonioli called it “radioactive and fun.” He received 30 out of 40 points.

After the dance, fans took to Twitter, not to praise the swimmer, but to mock something that seemed to be happening in his pants.

As for fellow Olympian Laurie Hernandez, the gymnast had to bounce back after falling to the middle of the pack with last week’s paso doble, and she did it.

The 16-year-old was “on fire” when she danced salsa to Major Lazer’s “Light It Up.” Hough said she was “just phenomenal” while Pitbull said, “What you brought on the dance floor was amazing.” She received 36 points.

However, it was IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe and singer/actress Jana Kramer who sizzled most.

Hinchcliffe made up a Latino alter ego named Ricardo to get himself into character, and it worked. He was praised by the judges including Hough calling him “the best male dancer” the show has ever had.

“I kind of feel all evening that I’ve been eating chips and salsa, and you just brought me the whole enchilada,” Carrie Ann Inaba added.

As for Kramer, the judges praised her for setting “the record for the hottest Argentine tango” – set to Selena Gomez's hit, "Hands to Myself," no less.

In the end, someone had to be sent home, and the axe fell on model Amber Rose.

“This has been an amazing experience," she said. "People don’t know this about me, but I am really shy. I think this showed on the dance floor.”
