Dame Judi Dench celebrated her 81st year with a permanent present to herself.

The 007 actress inked the Latin phrase, “Carpe Diem,” meaning “Seize the Day,” on the inside of her right wrist, which she debuted earlier this month at the Prince’s Trust Gala in Buckinghamshire, England.

“Finty [Williams, Dench’s daughter] gave it to me for my 81st birthday — she’s wonderful with surprises,” Dench told Surrey Life magazine, adding the famous phrase is her life motto.

Though Dench has always longed for a tattoo, she previously joked about getting a special saying on her behind for producer Harvey Weinstein.

“I once said to him, ‘I have your name tattooed on my bum,'” Dench told the Hollywood Reporter in 2014. “He laughed and was, well, quite embarrassed, actually. It’s quite difficult to embarrass Harvey, but I did!”

Dench even enlisted her makeup artist to give her a temporary mark ahead of a meeting with Weinstein, 64.

“Beforehand, I got my makeup lady to actually write Harvey’s name [on my body]. Then I brought it up at lunch and said, ‘You know, I do have it on my bum’ — and then I actually got up and showed him! I’ve never seen a man more embarrassed and I’ve never let him forget it.”
