Does Kevin Smith know where the Fountain of Youth is?
Joey Lauren Adams was a staple in the Jersey director's movies -- starring in the beloved '90s cult hits "Mallrats" and "Chasing Amy," as well as 2001's "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" -- and apparently, she hasn't aged a day since.
Don't believe us? The 48-year-old actress looked stunning on the 2016 CMT Awards red carpet in Nashville, Tennessee, on Wednesday, where she rocked a slinky powder blue slipdress.
Adams looked exactly the same as she did back in the day.
Smith seems to have a knack for casting his good friends who defy age. Adams starred alongside a then-little known actor, Ben Affleck, in both "Chasing Amy" and "Mallrats," and the 45-year-old screenwriter-director has also employed Matt Damon, Jason Lee, Shannen Doherty, Chris Rock, Salma Hayek, and Alanis Morisette, all members of what we have declared the Never-Gonna-Grow-Old Fan Club.
Basically, if Smith casts you, you're nearly guaranteed to defy the laws of aging and gravity.
Adams was at the CMT Awards for a good reason -- she was introducing a clip of her new show, "Still the King," which stars Billy Ray Cyrus and premieres June 12 on the country music network.
