Soleil Moon Frye recently reminisced about her “Punky Brewster” days.
The pregnant mom of three told Us Weekly she recently let her kids watch the show while on a road trip.
“They had seen bits and pieces on YouTube, but it was the first time they had watched a whole episode,” she told the magazine. “We were on a road trip so they were watching it, and I could hear it in the background.”
She said she enjoyed sharing the memories from the ‘80s sitcom with her family.
The actress also revealed she had a big crush during filming.
“It was fun to walk through all these different amazing times, and it was really cute because the Andy Gibb episode was on, and I was like, ‘Do you see how flustered mom is?’ I was so in love with him! I had such a big crush on him, like you could watch the crush happening on screen.”
The series aired for four seasons from 1984 to 1988. Moon Frye went on to appear on shows like “Sabrina the Teenage Witch.” She also most recently worked on the series “Home Made Simple.”
