Selena Gomez has taken the Instagram crown from her best friend.
The singer-actress has officially become the most-followed person on the social media platform, edging out her BFF, Taylor Swift, with an impressive 69.4 million followers.
Swift has 69.3 million followers.
Following Swift are Kim Kardashian, with 63.6 million followers, and the "Queen B," Beyoncé rounding off the top four at 63 million.
Gomez’s achievement follows a few days after the Colombian singer Maluma became the first Latin male artist to hit 10 million followers on Instagram.
