Sheldon Cooper must not be the kind of guy to kiss and tell.

“The Big Bang Theory” returned from a three week hiatus Thursday night and made not a single reference to the huge step Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) took during last month’s mid-season finale.

In fact, we see rather little of Amy in “The Sales Call Sublimation.”

She’s out of town at a neurobiology conference, leaving Sheldon and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) free to discover a medium sized asteroid using a computerized telescope.

Much of their screen time is spent discussing what to name the new discovery.

In a video chat, Sheldon tells Amy that they have decided to name it after her.

“We did a little negotiating,” he says. “We get the asteroid and if we ever have children, they all need to be named Rajesh.”

Meanwhile, Penny (Kaley Cuoco) is having trouble securing a sales call with Dr. Gallo (Jane Kaczmarek), a local psychiatrist. Raj suggests that Leonard (Johnny Galecki) make an appointment to see her as a patient and lay the groundwork for the sale.

Gallo immediately questions whether Leonard is the son of esteemed Dr. Beverly Hofstadter.

“I can tell you I don’t agree with her theories on child rearing at all,” she tells him, putting Leonard immediately at ease.

The session goes so well that Penny gets her appointment and appears to be on her way to a sale — that is until Gallo busts her for sending Leonard in to do her dirty work.

“Here is a man raised by an overbearing woman who completely dominated every aspect of his formative years. Do you think he is perpetuating that relationship by seeking out a partner like you,” she asks.

“I used to wear tank tops a lot,” Penny replies.  “That was a big selling point.”

Over at the Wolowitz house, Stuart (Kevin Sussman) is finally getting ready to move out and give Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rouch) a bit of their privacy back.

Not a moment too soon – it turns out—as we learn that Simon enjoys watching Japanese porn cartoons.

But when the couple goes to clean out his room they end up wishing he hadn’t left.
