Demi Lovato set to ring in the New Year from Times Square with One Direction, Carrie Underwood

Demi Lovato will ring in the New Year in New York City’s Times Square.

The pop singer has been tapped to help count down to 2016 on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest,” ABC announced on Tuesday.

“I am SO excited to perform in TIMES SQUARE at @NYRE this year!!! Don't miss it, LIVE 12/31 on ABC!!” she tweeted.

Lovato, who will sing songs from her new album “Confident,” will be joined by Luke Bryan, Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth.

The live telecast will be headlined by Carrie Underwood and will also feature British pop group One Direction, playing from the Billboard Hollywood Party in Los Angeles.

Bryan, who is the reigning Country Music Association entertainer of the year, is set to sing a medley of his hits while Khalifa and Puth will perform “See You Again” from the “Furious 7” soundtrack.

The special hosted by Ryan Seacrest starts at 8 p.m. EST. on New Year's Eve.
