Naya Rivera is going to be a mother.
The “Glee” actress announced Tuesday night in an extremely cute way that she and her husband, the actor Ryan Dorsey, are expecting a baby.
In a post on Twitter, the 28-year-old teased her more than 1.73 million followers:
The post contained a link to her website, on which Rivera posted a drawing of a bun in the oven, followed by childhood photos of her and Dorsey, 31.
“We’re having a baby! Ryan and I feel so blessed and can’t wait to welcome the newest member of our family,” she wrote in the post.
This is the first child for the couple who surprised fans when they married in Mexico last July.
Rivera, who is set to begin filming a small arc on “Devious Maids” this week, told Latina magazine in January 2014 that she wants to learn to speak Spanish more fluently so that she can teach her kids.
“It sucks because I have no one to (speak Spanish) to, but it’s something I need to learn when I have kids. They need to be fluent,” she told the magazine.
