Get the Look: Kate Middleton's Royal Blowout
Celebrity hair guru Paul Cucinello shows us how easy it is to get the Duchess of Cambridge's trademark hairstyle.
No one would ever pick on Kate Middleton’s royal tresses — unless you happen to be her husband, the Duke of Cambridge.
According to US Weekly, Prince William delivered some holiday cheer earlier this month at Centrepoint in London, where he met with volunteers at the facility — and one of the guests happened to be an aspiring hairdresser named Angel.
While chatting with the 20-year-old trainee, the 32-year-old royal, who’s second in line to the throne, declared what he really thought of Middleton’s “nightmare hair.”
"[Prince William] was asking us all about Centrepoint — how we were doing with our courses and all that sort of stuff,” says the student to the publication. “Then suddenly he asked whether I could help out with Kate's hair, because it's such a nightmare. I didn't think he was serious at first — I couldn't believe it."
The reason behind William’s reported rant? He explained that Middleton’s mane was “so long and thick, it’s a bit of an issue.”
However, Angel (like the rest of us), thinks differently about the Duchess’ luscious locks.
“It would be amazing to do Kate’s hair, because it’s so flawless,” says Angel. “To me, her hair always looks perfect, like no effort goes into it at all — but it obviously must take time to make it look so good. I think any girl would love to do Kate’s hair, though.”
Fortunately, US Weekly reports that William’s complaints were all in good fun, and so far, it doesn’t seem like he’s gotten himself in a hairy situation with the missus.
