Oops! Britney Spears Lets It Slip That Zoe Saldaña Is Expecting Twins

Pregnant Zoe Saldaña has been rumored to be expecting two bundles of joy with husband Marco Perego and her longtime pal Britney Spears accidentally said it’s true.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Spears, 32, was asked if she would do another movie with the “Avatar” star, she said, “Who knows? That’s a very good idea. But she’s pregnant with twins right now. So I’m sure she’s got a huge future ahead of her.”

Oops.

Saldaña, 36, just recently confirmed she and Perego were expanding their family while doing the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge last month. The extremely private couple has not confirmed that she's having twins.

When Spears, who is a mother of two, was asked if she has given her friend any advice, she joked, “You’re not ready. You don’t know what you’re in for.”

The longtime pals – they have been friends since appearing on screen in “Crossroads” more than a decade ago – were spotted at the Los Angeles airport on Monday.

Although the two lost touch for several years after the film, Saldaña has always praised her co-star, telling Allure in 2013 that Spears was “a very beautiful human being.”

“After I worked with her, I realized that there was a reason why she was the most popular pop artist over so many other pop artists at that time who were more talented, had better voices,” Saldaña told the magazine. “And it was because of her heart, her soul.”

Saldaña last month came out to defend Spears’ talents on “Watch What Happens Live” after an unedited version of “Alien” leaked.

"Well, that's mean, because I'm pretty sure that 80 percent of our musical artists would be mortified if they were caught singing without their own auto-tune," she said. “I have a huge amount of respect for Britney Spears. She was the one big, big celebs that I met when I started to work in Hollywood who literally was humble. I do believe that people and children gravitate to good energy, and she’s definitely an abundance of that.”

Spears expressed her gratitude via Twitter, writing, “@Zoesaldana Truly the sweetest, thx 4 the kind words. Nothing but great memories of working w u. Crossroads pt 2?"
