Sofia Vergara definitely has something to smile about: she is completely smitten with her new love interest.

The “Modern Family” actress has been dating Joe Manganiello since early July and she told People that she “couldn’t be happier” with life.

“I’m very happy romantically,” the 42-year-old said. “It couldn’t be better!”

Vergara continued: “I have a television show that has been successful for the past five years. And it allowed me to do all the things I’ve wanted to do with my career. It’s been a lot of fun these past years.”

The romance between the actress and her “True Blood” hunk, 37, has been sizzling all summer. Recently, the duo went on a PDA-filled trip to Miami where Vergara reportedly introduced him to her family.

In a recent interview with Extra!, Vergara played coy to questions about her relationship, though she did open up a tad bit about her love life.

She gushed: “I’m just having a great time. It’s a special time in my life. But I’m trying not to think too much about it. It’s something very new so we will see what happens.”

When asked if her mother approved of her new beau, Vergara quipped, “What is there not to approve?”

Regardless, Manganiello has earned the approval of Vergara’s co-stars, Julie Bowen and Sarah Hyland.

“I think they’re super hot together,” Hyland told People last month. “They’ll have really hot babies.”

The duo began dating earlier this summer after Vergara ended her engagement with businessman Nick Loeb. They reportedly first met at the White House Correspondents Dinner in May.
