Being arrested for going under America Ferrera’s dress at the Cannes Film Festival red carpet was not enough.
The 25-year-old man who crawled under the dress of the “Cesar Chavez” actress earlier this month was arrested again Wednesday night in Los Angeles, this time for allegedly attacking actor Brad Pitt at the “Maleficent” premiere red carpet.
Los Angeles police said Vitali Sediuk jumped a barrier onto the red carpet from a fan area at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood and rushed at Pitt, touching him briefly in the face before security guards wrestled him back across the barrier. Pitt later filed a restraining order against Sediuk.
Sediuk was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor battery and held in lieu of $20,000 bail, according to the Los Angeles Times.
“Some guy jumped over the barricades and made contact with Brad Pitt,” Officer Nuria Vanegas of the LAPD said.

The actor, who was accompanying partner Angelina Jolie in Disney’s new live action spin on its animated classic “Sleeping Beauty,” was apparently unhurt and resumed signing autographs and greeting fans soon after the incident.
According to the LA Times, Ferrera’s incident at the Cannes red carpet for “How to Train Your Dragon 2” was not the first time Sediuk was involved in a bizarre celebrity incident.
In January, Sediuk, a Ukrainian journalist, appeared at the Screen Actors Guild Awards where he somehow found his way to actor Bradley Cooper. Sediuk wrapped his arm around Cooper’s legs and pressed his face against the actor.
In February 2013, Sediuk also appeared on stage at the Grammys while Adele gave her speech for solo pop performance and weeks after that, he crash the Academy Awards.
He appeared at the entrance wearing a Bjork-style swan dress with a pail full of replica Oscar statues, but was stopped by police and told to leave, the LA Times reported.
Sediuk first surfaced in May 2012 at the Moscow premiere of “Men in Black 3,” where he reportedly kissed actor Will Smith, who immediately shoved him away. After the incident, Smith told a reporter that Sediuk was “lucky I didn’t sucker-punch him.”
