Racing enthusiast Roger Rodas, who was in a fiery crash that killed both he and late actor Paul Walker, reportedly left his two kids a life insurance policy worth $1 million.

TMZ reported that Rodas’ two kids, who are 10 and 12 years old, will be well provided for and that their mom, Kristine Rodas, has petitioned for their guardianship so she could manage their money. It’s unclear what Rodas left his wife in his will, but he was wealthy when he died.

The 38-year-old Rodas, originally from El Salvador, was behind the wheel of the red Porsche Carrera GT with Walker, 40, when they crashed in California just after Thanksgiving last year.

Rodas was a good friend and financial advisor to Walker, a Pirelli World Challenge race car driver. Before his death, Rodas was a wealth manager with Bank of America/Merrill Lynch and a key factor in developing waste to energy power plants and wind farms in Central America.

Walker and Rodas co-owned the Always Evolving Performance Shop and the Always Evolving racing team.

A police investigation found the Porsche that Rodas was driving was traveling up to 94 mph when it spun out of control.

Currently, Walker’s “Fast and Furious” co-stars are completing the next installment of the highly successful film series. His brothers, Caleb Walker and Cody Walker, have been enlisted to complete their brother's action scenes and "fill in small gaps left in production," Universal Pictures said in a statement Tuesday on the film's Facebook page.

"Having them on set has made us feel that Paul is with us too," read the statement.

The release of "Fast & Furious 7" was delayed to April 2015 following Walker's death.
