Ever since he was announced as our next Batman in the upcoming "Man of Steel" sequel, Ben Affleck has been taking a lot of flak. Especially from the 88,000 people (and counting) who signed this Change.org petition demanding he be removed from the role.

Luckily, Affleck has some very credible supporters. Adam West and Val Kilmer — two former Batmen — have already expressed their support for Bat-Ben via Twitter:

More recently, former Batman Michael Keaton gave his endorsement to TMZ. "He's gonna be great," said Keaton, who starred in Tim Burton's 1989 "Batman" film and its 1992 sequel, "Batman Returns."

Now that three-fifths of our live-action Batmen are behind Affleck (Bale and Clooney haven't said much yet), maybe his naysayers will come around.

Still, we can't help but wonder how he'll stack up against our favorite Caped Crusaders.
