Madonna, you’ve been warned.

The pop music sensation may be too hot for Instagram to handle. The social networking site apparently sent a message to Madonna urging her to abide by their posting guidelines and refrain from sharing photos “that show nudity or mature content.”

In a letter to Madonna, which she—of course— posted on Instagram, the site alleges that the singer violated the site’s “community guidelines.”

The rules, outlined in the letter, state that users should not “post photos that aren’t yours” or “share photos that show nudity or mature content.”

The letter does not specify what Madonna posted to prompt the warning, but based on a quick survey of her account, it’s likely Instagram is referring to some of the raunchy pictures she has shared, which could be considered mature content.

More On This...

Madonna has posted a zoomed in picture of her cleavage as well as a photo of herself from behind, while performing in a barely-there leotard.

The singer also posted a photo of artist Frida Khalo, which she likely did not take, that may violate the site’s rule of posting photos that aren’t yours.

The letter advises the singer to remove photos that violate the guidelines.

“We strongly suggest deleting any additional content on your account that may not fall in line with the above guidelines… It is important to note that continuing to violate them may result in a disabled account, or discontinued access to Instagram, without warning."

So far it seems Madonna isn’t taking any action.
