In the FOXLight with Michael Tammero: 'The Mystery of Edwin Drood'

Michael Tammero

From the movies to theater, Charles Dickens’ classic “A Christmas Carol” is a staple during the holiday season.  But did you know there was another, unfinished Christmastime play by Dickens?  Neither did we…

“The Mystery of Edwin Drood” is a play-within-a -play musical with a bit of improv and audience participation.  Staged in a Victorian music hall at Christmastime,  a young Englishman, Edwin Drood, goes missing and sends the town into a whirlwind.  After all the singing, dancing and hullabaloo, you get the chance to pick the ending!

With a star-studded cast, including the two-time Tony Award winning Broadway legend Chita Rivera, the Roundabout-produced revival of 1985's “Drood” is a real showstopper.

Michael Tammero got a chance to sit down with two of the leading players —Will Chase and Betsy Wolfe— as they dish on the show (now playing at NYC’s famous Studio 54), gossip from behind the scenes and an exclusive all-access backstage tour! Got your ticket?

It’s time to step into the FOXLight …
