"Mad Men" fans have a reason to be a bit disappointed. AMC's award-winning series was nominated for 17 Primetime Emmy Awards at last night's ceremony, but failed to take home a single statue.

Instead, Showtime's series "Homeland" beat out the '60s-era drama for Outstanding Drama Series, among other awards. "Homeland" actress Claire Danes beat out Elizabeth Moss of "Mad Men" in the Outstanding Lead Actress category, and Damian Lewis bested Jon Hamm for Outstanding Lead Actor (a category which Hamm has been nominated for, and lost, for five consecutive years). Christina Hendricks and Jared Harris of "Mad Men" also missed out on awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress and Actor, with the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences favoring Maggie Smith of "Downton Abbey" and Aaron Paul of "Breaking Bad." We'd be willing to bet that a few "Mad Men" cast members .

While fans of the show may be furious, and angry, and peeved, and bitter, (and a whole host of other words that mean "mad"), what did you think about "Mad Men" being shut out?
