Tori Amos' first album in two years is not only a hit, but it's also breaking Billboard records.

The American singer/songwriter's "Night of Hunters" has landed her in the top 10 of the Classical, Alternative and Rock lists simultaneously, making her the first woman to do so.

And while "Night of Hunters" may be a hit, it might take a full night to listen to Flaming Lips' newest song "Found a Star on the Ground." The six-hour song is not only unique for its length, but also aids a great cause. Fans donated $100 to hear their name sang by the rock band along with invited guest, Sean Lennon. Proceeds from the unique project go to The Central Oklahoma Humane Society and The Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma.

HOT SHOTS: Tori Amos

Another band who is using their musical talent for a good cause is Jack's Mannequin. They are preparing for the second annual Dear Jack Benefit for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, an organization that is close to front-man Andrew McMahon’s heart. A cancer survivor, McMahon tells Fox411 that “People and Things,” which is currently available for purchase, deals heavily with his experiences. He says, "the subject of the album is very much about love and very much about relationships and what two people go through when they are faced with a certain set of challenges they weren’t expecting.”

Another young artist who is releasing new music is the soulful Rachael Yamagata. She sat down with FOX411 to dish on how she took an unorthodox approach to producing her latest album "Chesapeake.” She ditched the formal studio album and says she “got this house and converted it into a studio and pitched tents and made dinners and tracked at weird hours of the night.”
