Was it Levy's lust or Anthony's anger?

The latest rumors have sprung up from a Chicago Sun-Times article that quotes a "a long time J.Lo pal" suggesting that Marc Anthony's temper may be to blame for split heard 'round the Latino world.

“I know Marc’s short fuse and explosive temper has been an issue. I’ve always thought Jennifer had learned to deal with that," the pal told the Sun Times.

This as speculation continues over the suspicious timing of Cuban heartthrob William Levy's separation with his wife, Mexican actress Elizabeth Gutiérrez, and his appearance in J.Lo's music video.

The couple is still on track to continue their business partnerships, including their talent show called "¡Q'Viva! The Chosen" - in which the stars will travel throughout Latin America looking for talent.

López and Anthony announced the end of their seven-year marriage on Friday in a joint statement to People magazine.

“This was a very difficult decision,” the statement said. “It is a painful time for all involved. And we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”

The Puerto Rican couple have twins together, and tied the knot less than a week after Anthony's divorce with Dayanara Torres was finalized.
