She's the sister to the Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, but she's carved out an identity that's all her own.
In what is sure to spark public outrage worldwide, Pippa Middleton lost this year's "Rear of the Year" award, with 50-year-old British TV presenter Carol Vorderman taking the crown instead, the London Daily Telegraph reports.
The British competition is held annually and is organized by publicity consultant Anthony Edwards.
Middleton has been grabbing headlines since appearing as maid of honor in the wedding in late April of her older sister, Kate, to Prince William, and much of the attention was focused on how she looked from behind.
While Pippa's assets were accentuated by a form-fitting white dress at the royal wedding, she was no match for Vorderman, who gained votes after appearing publicly in a series of figure-hugging outfits.
"I am really surprised and flattered to get this award, particularly at this stage of my life," Vorderman said.
