Modern Family gobbles up awards, Time Magazine is putting her in the spotlight, she's hanging out with Elmo and a big movie is in talks to bring the star in.

Sofia Vergara has it good.

This after Modern Family won Outstanding Comedy series at the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation's 22nd annual Media Awards at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles Sunday.

Time Magazine also included Vergara in the 2011 TIME 100 Poll, which has put up 204 newsmakers for 100 spots in preparation for its annual list of the most influential people. The voting closes on April 14.

Vergara also tweeted a photo (below) on Thursday of her with her latest big-time co-star – the venerable Elmo, as she visited Sesame Street.

"Look who I was shooting today with!!!" she wrote to her fans.

Last but certainly not least, the buxom star in in talks to appear in the new adaptation of the classic, "The Three Stooges." Director/writers Peter and Bobby Farrelly are considering the star to play, what else? A vixen who lures the dopey trio into a murder-for-hire scheme. Naturally.

Vergara hasn't been cast yet but a decision should be forthcoming as the Farrelly's aim to start shooting in the next month, according to Entertainment Weekly.

In March, Vergara spoke to Fox News Latino about being a Hispanic spokesperson, acting success and her hit show, Modern Family.
