Lady Gaga has been tantalizing us as long as we've known her -- a butt cheek here, a bare midriff there -- but now, in the new issue of Vanity Fair, she's taking it all off.

Covered only by a pair of strategically placed hands, a white bed sheet and a choker (along with one big tattoo), Gaga strips down in a cover shoot for the mag.

But she reveals more than just her body. Gaga tells Vanity Fair that she avoids having sex because she is afraid of depleting her creative energy. “I have this weird thing that if I sleep with someone they’re going to take my creativity from me through my [technical name for private parts],” she admits.

Perhaps as a result of this hang up, she's not really getting any. “I’m drawn to bad romances. And my song [“Bad Romance”] is about whether I go after those [sort of relationships] or if they find me. I’m quite celibate now; I don’t really get time to meet anyone," she explains.

Gaga also admits that she has a past with drugs -- which led her sobbing to her grandmother's house in West Virginia when she "hit rock bottom."

“I cried. I told her I thought my life was over and I have no hope and I’ve worked so hard, and I knew I was good. What would I do now? And she said, ‘I’m gonna let you cry for a few more hours. And then after those few hours are up, you’re gonna stop crying, you’re gonna pick yourself up, you’re gonna go back to New York, and you’re gonna kick some ass.'"

Which is precisely what she did. In honor of this revealing new cover, we're taking a look back at 10 of Gaga's most outrageous moments.
