Because nerds have a hard time getting actual dates, their fantasy stars are always out of this world

Maxim.com features their hottest stars every Monday on FOXNews.com. This week, it's the hottest starletss from 50 years of science fiction films.

For decades, the science fiction and fantasy genres have done more than just inspire conventions and bad fanfic.

They've given us an array of worship-worthy princesses, bad girls, and aliens.

From Ursula Andress in 1962's "Dr. No" to Megan Fox in 2007's "Transformers," nerd movies and hot chicks have gone hand in hand.

Perhaps its because geeks' troubles getting hot dates in real life. Or their overactive imaginations. Or a combination of the two.

Whatever the reason, the hotties in science-fiction movies are always have a little extra spacey sizzle.
