Powerful system to bring mountain snow to Northwest

A powerful system moving into the West will bring mountain snow to California, the Northwest, and the Northern Rockies, with rain at lower elevations.
Friday through the weekend we’ll be watching the Plains and eventually the Mississippi River Valley as the severe storm threat returns.
Large hail damaging winds, possible heavy rain and tornadoes will all be a risk. Please play close attention to your local weather.
