Heavy rain across the plains, rain and snow over the Great Lakes

Heavy rain continues across the Southern Plains especially Texas where flash flood watches and warnings are in effect.

Meanwhile, it’s cold enough for snow across the Central and Southern Rockies. Speaking of snow, cold air spreading east will bring rain and snow over the Great lakes and even the northeast tonight and into tomorrow morning.

Temperatures remain 20-30 degrees below average for the Plains and Midwest.
