Is trade school a smarter investment than college? On this episode of Planet Tyrus, former WWE Tag Team Champion and NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Trevor Murdoch joins Tyrus to reveal why learning to weld was one of the best decisions he ever made, and why more young Americans should consider skilled trades instead of taking on massive student loan debt. Before becoming a professional wrestling champion, Trevor Murdoch trained as a certified welder through Job Corps, completing a 12-month program in just eight months. With no college debt, multiple welding certifications, and a career building railroad cars, Murdoch discovered the value of having a skill that could provide financial security long after his wrestling days were over. Plus, Trevor shares incredible behind-the-scenes stories from his WWE career, his relationship with legendary wrestler Harley Race, and his journey from the welding shop to becoming a champion in WWE and the NWA.
