Debris field from vanished plane off Nantucket stretches 80-90 feet, Coast Guard says

The Coast Guard said Sunday it is still conducting a search and rescue mission to find the six people aboard an ambulance transport aircraft after finding an extensive debris field off the coast of Nantucket, where the plane disappeared.

Following the disappearance of an air ambulance transport aircraft with six people on board, the Coast Guard said it is working alongside Massachusetts agencies to scan the seabed with sonar-equipped vessels. Officials have recovered debris from the extensive field but report no current signs of the aircraft's black box as the investigation continues.
