Texas hospital brings prom to high school senior recovering from back injury

When nurses and staff at a Houston-area hospital realized an injured high school senior wouldn’t be able to attend her prom, they brought the prom to her, on Saturday, April 26.

According to Memorial Hermann The Woodlands hospital, Ella Walker, an 18-year-old senior at Tomball High School, was rushed to the medical center earlier this month after a trampoline accident. Walker suffered a serious back injury from the accident and had to undergo surgery to reinforce her back with rods and screws. Due to her ongoing recovery, she thought she was going to miss prom.
