Purple Heart recipients take Honor Flight on National Purple Heart Day

Honor Flight of Northeast Indiana sent 102 Purple Heart recipients to Washington, D.C. The trip represents the largest group of Purple Heart recipients to take an Honor Flight at once. Afterward, the veterans will return home and be welcomed back.
