Pink dye experiment: Researchers turn ocean pink for science

UC San Diego's Scripps Institution of Oceanology and University of Washington are leading an experiment in California at Los Peñasquitos Lagoon. The non-toxic pink dye experiment will help determine how freshwater outflows work with the surfzone.
