Woman, Triplets Found Dead in Connecticut Home

A 27-year-old woman was found dead with her newborn triplets in her Connecticut home Tuesday afternoon after apparently giving birth to the babies there, the Connecticut Post reported.

The unidentified woman's mother found her daughter and the babies around 1 p.m. and called police.

Det. Ben Trabka told the Post all four were already dead when medical crews arrived at the Shelton, Conn., home owned by her parents.

Trabka said the woman's parents didn't know she was pregnant, the Post reported.

Foul play is not suspected, he said.
