Wisconsin boy, 12, saves grandmother's home from foreclosure

Twelve-year-old Noah Lamaide is no stranger to helping those in need.

In 2010, the Wisconsin boy started a website to help people still recovering from Hurricane Katrina, MyFoxWausau.com reports.

So when he heard his grandmother could lose her home to foreclosure, he turned to his website to help raise money by posting her story. In just a few weeks, Noah raised over $10,000 -- more than enough to help his grandmother keep her home, MyFoxWausau.com reports.

"I never knew that there were so many good people in this world," Noah told MyFoxWausau.com.

Homeowner Janice Sparhawk is grateful for her grandson's efforts.

"I called our local representative, the governor, the president, not asking for money but asking them to help me find a program, and they couldn't do it," Sparhawk said. "But this 12-year-old could. He saved this house."
