Suspect in custody after doctor stabbed multiple times inside Virginia health clinic

A doctor is in serious condition after being stabbed multiple times by a patient inside of a Virginia health clinic, authorities said Tuesday.
Police were called to the Prince William Community Health Center in Woodbridge, Va., early Tuesday over reports of a fight inside the clinic, Fox affiliate WTTG reported.
When officers arrived, they found a male doctor suffering from multiple stab wounds, according to the station. The doctor -- whose name has not been released -- was taken to a local hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
A suspect was quickly identified and is in police custody, according to officials.
The suspect was being treated at the center, but not directly by the doctor who was stabbed, police said. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
