Possible world record mako shark caught off California coast

A group of fishermen off the coast of Huntington Beach, Calif., may have broke a world record Monday after catching an 11-foot-long mako shark 15 miles off shore, KTLA.com reported.
"It's unreal," Jason Johnson, one of the fishermen told the station. "This thing is definitely a killing machine."
The fight lasted more than two hours and they used about a quarter mile worth of line, he said. The 1,300-pound fish will be donated to a research center, the report said.
