Police search for woman caught on video punching dog

A woman caught on video punching a dog is being sought by Georgia police.
On the tape, the unidentified woman is seen carrying the animal by its neck. At one point she strikes the dog twice with her right hand. Witnesses told FOX5 on Friday that the woman hit the dog with a stick and then began punching it.
The video was turned over to DeKalb County Police.
Cops have canvassed the area near Willa Way in Decatur looking for the woman, according to FOX5.
“I hope they find her, and the dog,” an area neighbor told FOX5.
