Official: No Security Threat at Minneapolis Airport

Published January 07, 2015

Fox News

Officials determined there was no threat after a security breach was reported at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport when a bomb-sniffing dog reacted to possible explosive material on a piece of checked luggage from an inbound flight.

Parts of the airport were shut down for about an hour after the police bomb squad was called to the scene.

Planes were not grounded and the airport is still open.
