New York Man Makes $45G Yearly on OTB, Never Places a Bet

A New York City man is making a decent living on off track betting — without spending a dime.
It all started 10 years ago with one lost ticket.
That's when Jesus Leonardo tossed a $900 winning betting slip and went searching for it near an off track betting parlor, MyFoxNY.com reported.
He didn't find it, but he did snatch two other tickets worth $2,000, and he's never looked back since.
"It is literally found money," the husband and father of two told The New York Times.
Leonardo, 57, makes about $45,000 a year by collecting discarded tickets, and estimates he has won half a million dollars over the past decade, MyFoxNY.com reported.
Off track betting is legal gambling on horse racing outside a race track.
He reports all his earnings to the IRS, and at one point even hired two other people to collect unwanted slips.
"This has become my job, my life," Leonardo told the Times. "This is how I feed my family."
