A Massachusetts man who authorities believed was behind ISIS propaganda videos—including ones that featured beheadings—was reportedly killed Sunday in an airstrike over northern Iraq.

Ahmad Abousamra, 33, who graduated in 2009 from Stoughton High School, which is south of Boston, was killed with "a bunch of others" in the strike in the west of Anbar province, police in Stoughton told The Enterprise newspaper. "He is no longer a threat," Police Chief Paul Shastany said.

Abousamra, who was born in France, was on the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists list and reportedly indicted in 2009 for taking trips to countries like Pakistan to train to kill American soldiers.

He was a dean's list student at Northeastern University and reportedly used his computer knowledge to spread the propaganda for recruitment.

The report said that the U.S. government declined to comment on the strike.
