Officials in Florida set up a bear trap near the location where a man was attacked Thursday evening near his mobile home park, MyFoxOrlando.com reported.

Josh Hennessy, who lives in Sorrento, which is about 10 miles north of Orlando, heard rustling in the bushes near his home and went to investigate. The noise turned out to be a bear and it proceeded to attack Hennessy and began to drag him into the bushes.

Hennessy was able to fight off the animal after suffering from a few bites on his hip and arm. He asked that the black bear not be hurt because he said it appeared the two just crossed paths at the wrong time.
